Barbara Walters Puts Down Bruno and The Little People
Barbara Walters reviews Bruno through the eyes of a nine year who don’t understand the puns behind pussycats, roosters and cocktails. In the process, she manages to make a fool of herself by snubbing everyone as little people. The reactions by her co-hosts are priceless, it is on the level of Mike Meyers’ reaction when Kanye West said that Bush did not care about black people on a live telethon to raise money for Katrina victims.
Who would have guessed that Barbara is in cahoots with the Alabama dinner folks who were duped by Borat the first time? Does she know that calling working class Americans “little people” ranks up there with slave owners and being racially intolerant.
One more thing Barbara, this movie is rated R. If you are a parent and made the choice to bring your 12 year old to see it, then you already know what to expect unless you are one of the little people that caters to Barbara.
“I don’t like making fun of little people.” – Barbara Walters
Joy Behar sums up Barbara’s review best. “So if you don’t know the difference, there’s something wrong with you.”
