Gayby is having second thoughts about Bruno and that “the film was a distortion of homosexuality.” Oh really? Let’s consult with Negrodamus that gerbils are not a part of gay intimacy.

Bruno appeared on the Spanish TV show El Hormiguero and danced with the host, Pablo Motos. It got very playful and Bruno gave Pablo a lap dance. Only Sacha Baron Cohen can pull this off with a straight face.
He also tries to identify gay men in the audience while telling Pablo to keep his eyes away from the crotch area. Hangs out with singing ant puppets with blow job lips, and plays with buckets of Nickelodeon Gak aka Flubber while almost finishing off Flipy (as Triumph the Insult Comic Dog would have consented).
It will be a blast when Bruno starts promoting across America. Jay Leno or Conan O’Brien will probably book him for their late night talk shows.

Bruno is now a furry animal. Bruno donned a black bull costume with horns and rocky mountain oysters in full commando mode to promote his movie.
Spanish spectators at Las Ventas bullring in Madrid, Spain were not treated to any sword thrusts to the Bruno bull. It is believed that PETA and animal rights groups were also present to protect this rarity of an extremely gay bull.

No matter how you slice it, Bruno is a movie about a fictional gay television personality invading parts of America that is pure and simple. Only to reveal that it is more backwards, dangerous, and hilarious than the American image portrayed to the world.
The Digg image / article “*****’ right you’re not in Kansas anymore” sums up the hilarity perfectly. – http://digg.com/movies/Fuckin_right_you_re_not_in_Kansas_anymore

AfterElton.com has a lengthy article discussing
Is “Brüno” Homophobic? (Or Are Some Gay Observers Missing the Point?)
Will the audience be laughing with the gay community? Or at the gay community? (The answer is “will Fox News ever be fair and balanced?”)

In the spirit of the PC vs the Mac commercials, Alfons Haider appears to be very much the PC. He does not liken himself to be everything that is Bruno.
Bruno is:
- Gold lederhosen man.
- Velcro man.
- Naked GQ man.
- $42 million dollars richer man.
- Isla Fisher’s man.
I never understood the comparison to myself at all. The only comparisons I can think of is that I’m Austrian, I’m gay, and I work for television, but the rest is completely fiction.
